A Very Special Newborn Session | Our Baby Girl Natalie Ann

In the past few years, I have photographed many portrait sessions, events, weddings, and just snapping the world around me.  I have immensely enjoyed every single one of those moments and they have each left me fulfilled in knowing I have given my clients memories to cherish for years to come.  In this past year, the newborn sessions have especially tugged at my heart strings.  I have loved capturing those squishy lips, tiny fingers, little feet, and slight smiles.  It means so much to be able to freeze time for the parents so that they can always remember their little boys and girls as they were during those first few weeks of life.

But, nothing can come close to being able to capture those same kinds of moments for our own baby girl.  Natalie Ann O'Connor was born in the wee hours of the morning (3:28am to be exact) on Thursday, October 3, 2013. In true fashion of her mother, Natalie was impatient and could not wait until her original due date of 11/5 and arrived a full month early.  Weighing in at 6lbs 2oz and measuring 19 inches long, Natalie took our collective breath away the moment we laid eyes on her.  We never saw a more perfect little baby and couldn't believe she was ours.  Even the nurses could not stop complimenting on how beautiful she was.

After almost a week long stay in the hospital, we finally took our baby girl home to begin our new lives together as a family of 3.  This of course led to Mommy finally being able to break in all the new photos props and outfits she bought just for the occasion =)  I couldn't have asked for a more perfect little model.  I know eventually this child is going to get sick of me sticking this camera in her face but I can not wait to capture every moment I can of her life growing up.

I would like to give a BIG thank you to Etsy Seller CherlynnePhotograhy for making the most adorable knit hats and outfits ever!  If you are ever in the need beautiful outfits for your newborn, don't hesitate to check her out.  You can save 15% off at her shop by using the code SAVE15 at checkout.

Now on to our little peanut's newborn session <3
