ENGAGED 2013 | Erin + Anthony

I am so happy to share this shoot with you!  When I first met with Erin + Anthony, they told me they had a vision of a rustic setting for their engagement session.  After racking our brains for a good location, Erin mentioned Old Bethpage Village.  I had personally never been but have heard about it.  After doing some research, I was so excited to do a shoot here with so many great photo ops!  We walked around the Village getting inspired by old colonial America and sharing lots of laughs.  I also would like to give a special thank you to Anthony for giving up a few hours on the first Sunday of football season - what a trooper!

I just would like to note that all of these ducks just decided to take a stroll over to Erin + Anthony and stare them down - AWESOME!

Love me a red brick wall!

After some investigative work by Anthony, we discovered there were actually hats in Lewish Ritch's store.

EVENT 2013 | Mason 1st Birthday

It seems like yesterday I was taking photos of Mason on the day of his christening and now he's one year old!  It's amazing how fast time flies.  I adored every single detail about Mason's first birthday celebrations.  I want to give a special shout out to Mason's mommy for the amazing job she did with the decorations and all her DIY projects - everything was perfect!

When talking about Mason's first birthday, they definitely wanted to include a cake smash and that is exactly how she started the day off.  Not only was this cake made by Cheeky Cakery the perfect cake for Mason to dig his little hands into but it was DELISH!

Some cake for mommy!

Such a happy little guy!

While Mason got cleaned up and dressed in his birthday duds, I took a walk around admiring all the wonderful details of his Mickey Mouse themed birthday.

I just want to point out those Mickey Mouse Oreos made by Mason's mommy - so adorable and who doesn't love oreos?!

Mason's AMAZING Mickey cake made by Cheeky Cakery - I believe it was Vanilla cake with Almond Butter Cream filling.  Out of this world!

Guests headed into "Mason's Clubhouse" for some delicious snacks made by a family friend and neighbor.  Those Avocado Toasts were divine!

And here's our birthday boy all cleaned up for some more photo ops!

What a great looking family.

The whole crew who came out to celebrate Mason's big day!

Time to blow out the candles!

And I am going to end it with this sweet photo of Mason with two women who love him very much.

Happy Birthday Mason!
