WEDDING: Katie + Mike | Harvest on Hudson

It couldn't have been a more perfect day or setting for Katie and Michael's wedding - blue skies, slight breeze from the Hudson, and a gathering of all their loved ones.  I honest to God had such an amazing time capturing their wedding day.  Harvest on Hudson is one of the most beautiful places I have ever been to - you feel like you just stepped into Tuscany!  The love and friendship Katie and Michael share with one another shined through all day long.  I loved watching them make each other laugh throughout the ceremony and just enjoy their day as a whole.  Congratulations to you both on your marriage and may you have a long and happy life together! <3

After a beautiful ceremony and cocktail hour, the guests headed into the amazing interior of Harvest on Hudson to continue the celebrations with an array of delicious foods and great music.  Seriously, it might have been one of the best soundtracks to wedding I ever heard (everything from Frank Sinatra to the Violent Femmes - how could you go wrong?!)

Katie and Michael took center stage for their first dance.  They made each other laugh through the whole dance and you can tell they just genuinely enjoyed each other's company.

They each shared a special dance with their parents.

Their cake was stunning!  A gift to the Katie & Mike from the mother of the groom.

I thought I'd end this post on a sweet note (literally).  During the Best Man's speech, the bride and groom were presented with hand-written cards from Michael's, and now Katie's, nieces, wishing them all the happiness in the world on their wedding day.  I thought it was so incredibly sweet and I know the gesture truly touched the hearts of Katie and Mike.

Congratulations again to you both and thank you so, so much for allowing me to be a part of your special day!  I can't say enough how much fun I had working with you both!

ENGAGED: Elyse + Steve | Central Park

What an absolutely gorgeous afternoon spent in Central Park this past Saturday with the bride and groom to be, Elyse and Steve!  These two are getting hitched later on this year at Fox Hollow and I cannot wait to celebrate their wedding day with them.

I love that I didn't have to give too much direction to them - those looks of sheer happiness are ALL them!
