EVENT 2014 | "NYC, You Inspire Me" Cocktail Party - Mandarin Oriental New York

Last Thursday evening, I attended the cocktail party honoring the "NYC, You Inspire Me" project started by the folks at Mandarin Oriental New York.  This wonderful project allowed us to dive into the lives of some of our fellow New Yorkers to find out how this great city Inspires them in their fields.

From the Mandarin Oriental Facebook Page:

"We are inspired every day by the New Yorkers we encounter. They each have unique stories of the places, people, and experiences within #NYC that are part of their journey. In the spirit of inspiration, we're excited to announce that we've partnered with several New Yorkers to share their stories and places of inspiration. Each story features an original portrait of that New Yorker shot within the place that inspires them. We'll share their stories weekly throughout the year, and then will release them as a complete set at end of the year. We hope you enjoy these stories of inspiration as much as we have enjoyed collecting them."

I met and spoke with a lot of great people at this event and I am happy to have been a part of the evening.

Mandarin Oriental never fails in the catering department.  Everything I had the opportunity to try was beyond delish!

ENGAGED 2014 | Jillian + Dave - Carl Schurz Park

This snowy weather lately sure has given lots of people a reason to moan and groan, but you can't put a frown on these two lovebirds.  I have known Jillian and Dave for a few years now and I have come to know them as two very generous and kind people.  Their love for one another just poured out during their engagement session at Carl Schurz Park in NYC.  It wasn't hard to get these two to smile, share a laugh with one another, or cuddle close together.  I can't wait until their October wedding at the end of this year!

Gotta love a pup that isn't afraid to get in front of the camera.  This little guy just plopped himself right down in front of them so naturally, it was his turn for a photo shoot.
