One year ago today, our family eagerly gathered in the lobby of Mount Sinai's Klingenstein Pavilion awaiting those elevator doors to open. Finally, after what seemed like forever, my brother stepped out of those doors and happily announced, "It's a Girl!" After tears of joy and hugs of happiness were exchanged by all, we made our way up to recovery to visit the newest member of our family, Jillian Francesca.
The second I held her, I was in LOVE!
It's crazy how much she has grown in a year and how much she has made us smile, laugh, and forget all our worries when we are around her.
Happy 1st Birthday to the best Niece, God Daughter, and best little girl I have even known.

Ryan, the forever obsessed with the "Lion King" 4 year old that he is, wanted to have his own little mini session up on "Pride Rock". And yes, he is roaring in one of those photos.
