For Christmas this year, I decided to purchase my nephew his very own camera so he can be just like his Auntie. Glad to see he's already embracing it!

J-E-T-S, Jets Jets JETS!!!
FINALLY, after years and years of wanting to go to an NFL game (the only professional sporting event I had yet to go to), I made it to Game 7 - Jets vs. Chiefs - at Metlife Stadium. You may recall a few months back I had volunteered my services for the Taylor's Gift Foundation Fundraiser. A silent auction was held during the event and I decided to take my chances and purchase a few tickets. You would have thought I hit the Mega Millions jackpot with the reaction I gave when my ticket was called and I won 4 VIP Suite tickets to the game. So excited to win the tickets but even more excited to experience my first NFL game in style!
So here's a little glimpse into my very first football outing. It was an overall great day spent with my husband, brother and sister-in-law and I can't wait for the next game!
Here are your New York Jets!
The young-ins supporting their team.
National Anthem.
Opening kickoff and the game has begun.
The Flight Crew doing their thing.

Was that you, on the corner, of Saint Mark's and 3rd?
If you don't get the reference of this post heading, then you you should check out What's Your Problem Brian. Every time I am in the Village, I can't help but think of their song, "St. Mark's and 3rd". They, along with dozens of other bands like them made up a huge chunk of my childhood - just like this little area in the East Village. I can't recall a week that went by where my friends and I didn't hop on the 6 train from the Bronx to head down here to hang out, buy some used CDs, pick up some vintage clothing and eat some 50% off sushi after 10pm and wash it down with Sapporo/Saki before heading back home. I was recently back in the area and as soon as I stepped on the street, all those old memories started to come back to me.
A new friend - Matthew Silver the Great Performer.
The home of thousands of used CDs and Vinyl. Oh the money I dropped in this place.
Zen will always be my favorite sushi hangout.
You always see such interesting things down here.
The only place in town where you can combine naked babies and mo-hawked skeletons in a window display - Saks 5th Avenue has got nothing on this place!

Merry "Everything" and Happy 2012!
To wrap up the holiday shoots this year, we wanted to do something special for our two grandmothers this Christmas. So I, along with my husband, brother, sister-in-law, nephew, and all my cousins, gathered today at a nearby park to take a quick family photo together. Since it was incredibly cold and all we could think about was getting inside a nice warm house and stuffing our faces with lunch, we only braved it long enough to take just one photo.
From our family to yours, I would like to wish everyone a very Merry "Everything" and a happy and healthy 2012!

Addison + EJ: Christmas Portraits
Here's a little peek into my afternoon spent with big sister Addison and little brother EJ. I love how much these two just love each other and you can see they are going to grow up to be each other's best friend.
This girl LOVES to climb!
Addison doing "nose-ies" to her little brother - could you die?!
Crazy hair!
The doggies wanted to come out and play.

And finally, my favorite shot of the session <3
