What an absolutely perfect day to be out at the Long Island vineyards! Slight breeze, beautiful skies and most of all, great company. This past Saturday, a group of us headed out to the Island to celebrate the upcoming nuptials of our dear friend, Brennan.
First on our stop - Duck Walk.
First on our stop - Duck Walk.
The outdoor area of Duck Walk was just beautiful and relaxing, especially while enjoying the delicious lunch provided for us.
Up next on our tour is Pugliese. We especially enjoyed this vineyard because in addition to wine, we were also given the opportunity to partake in some champagne.
Just some scenery we got to look at on the drive to the next vineyard - no biggie.
Our third and final stop , Baiting Hollow, I have to say was by far my favorite for a few reasons:
1) I love the almost "beer garden for wine drinkers" feel to it.
2) The acoustic guitarist singing in both male and female voices - interesting, slightly creepy, but also very enjoyable.
3) The horse rescue right on the property.

4) My new found love - Baiting Hollow Riesling 2010. Buy me a bottle and I love you forever!
